There are a few lines in the Waterfalls Canyon area that I am interested in skiing. We scoped a few lines on Ranger Peak , and Eagles Rest as we ascended the Canyon. We decided to explore new terrain up the South Fork of Waterfalls Canyon towards the North Couloir on Eagles Rest Peak.

The South Fork is a mellow ascent with great views of the south facing lines on Ranger Peak.

I was really looking forward to the view south from the top of the Couloir, but it was cloudy. We really got to see some of the potential in the area. Can’t wait to get back.
